What we collect

When you send an enquiry we typically receive your name, email address, preferred advice area, optional meeting window and the message you write. If you become a client we will collect further information needed for a fact-find — such as income, pension and policy details — under a separate engagement letter.

Purpose and lawful basis

We process enquiry data to respond to your request and, where relevant, to take steps toward a contract for financial advice. Analytics cookies (if you accept them) help us understand site usage. Essential cookies are required for basic site operation and consent storage.

Retention

Enquiry messages that do not become clients are usually deleted or anonymised within 24 months. Client files are retained for periods required by UK financial services record-keeping rules and our engagement terms — typically at least five years after the advice relationship ends, and longer where regulations require.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or data portability where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise rights, email hello@cloud-query.digital.

International transfers

We aim to keep personal data within the United Kingdom. If a provider stores data outside the UK, we will ensure appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision before transferring.
