About

A planning practice rooted in Great Willms

Oakmere grew from years of sitting across kitchen tables and office desks with families who needed someone to order the paperwork — pensions, mortgages, cover — before talking about anything else.

Why we exist

Many households only meet an adviser when buying a product. We reverse that: first understand cash flow, goals and risks, then decide whether any product is needed at all.

Our work sits firmly in UK financial advice and consulting — fact-finds, suitability discussions, written plans and follow-up — delivered from Ernser Cliff in Great Willms, with video meetings for clients further afield.

How we work

Meetings are paced. We ask for statements in advance so the hour is spent on decisions rather than hunting for numbers. Recommendations arrive in writing, with a plain-language summary and a longer appendix for your records.

We will name when a solicitor, accountant or mortgage broker is the better next call. Advice that pretends to cover every discipline usually covers none of them well.

Values we keep visible

Clarity over volume

Fewer recommendations, better explained. A short action list beats a thick binder left unread.

Fees before products

You know the planning fee before any recommendation. Product choices, if needed, come after the plan.
